PERFORM now offers an integration with ClimateFirst, a tool designed for portfolio-level analysis of physical climate risk. This integration enables participants to efficiently complete and document physical climate risk screenings and assessments.
PERFORM participants can use ClimateFirst to automate data flows and streamline documentation uploads for two performance metrics within PERFORM’s resilience category:
- Physical Climate Risk Screening
- Physical Climate Risk Assessment

Climate Risk Exposure Screens
Identifies the climate risks for properties in a portfolio informed by the PERFORM performance metric: Physical Climate Risk Screening metric.
Climate Value at Risk (CVaR) Assessments
Analyzes costs of climate risks and how to adapt properties informed by the PERFORM performance metric: Physical Climate Risk Assessment.
3 simple steps to manage physical climate risk and report to GBCI:
Step 1
PERFORM participants enroll in USGBC’s Arc platform and create a portfolio.
Ready to join PERFORM?
Step 2
Using the same USGBC credentials, users log into ClimateFirst and select the properties within each listed portfolio that are to be assessed using a Risk Exposure Screen and/or Climate Value at Risk (CVaR) assessment.
Already a PERFORM member?
Step 3
Once results are available, participants can choose to send some or all of the assessment documentation back to PERFORM and submit for GBCI validation at their discretion.
